RM-625

RM-625 is a more versatile version of Atlantis 2. More maneuverable controller system utilizes a PS2 game pad for its movements and an LCD monitor for video feeds from onboard ROV Camera.

the first production prototype based from the data gathered from Atlantis 1 and 2. RM-625 is the culmination of the Atlantis project spanning 5 quarters

FUTURE UPGRADES: Onboard robotic arm for gathering deep water samples for experiments and other marine studies.

PROJECT ATLANTIS 1

This project aims to build an underwater ROV or Remotely Operated Vehicle for use in underwater surveillance. The vehicle is to be made as small as possible while maintaining enough room for basic functions such as transmission of video from the vehicle to the command boat. The vehicle is to be made of cheap components readily available in local hardware stores. Other components will be custom made as required. Basic control functions for maneuvering underwater and in tight spaces will be provided thru 4 thrusters arranged systematically around the vehicle.
