CMA-CGM Turqouise Sea Trial

Infront of the Deckhouse of CMA CGM Turqouise during its sea trial last Nov.7,2008, a 3 days voyage in the Philippine seas.
Crash Stop and Reverse Test is carried to know the vessels performance during an emergency, its is done when a vessels aheads a collision course with another vessel.

C/H No.1 Fire sprinkler test. A test carried to ensure the Fire Sprinkler performance in Cargo Hold No.1 (fore Section) It is one of the most fire hazzardous area in a container carrier. It contains special cargos. WHich needs to be cooled and protected by water every 2 hours.PN0002's Main Engine is a Doosan MAN B&W 2 stroke 8cyl. Deisel Engine with a power of 35650 KW at 104 RPM. Capable of providing a service speed of 24.5 Knots.

This vessel is equipped with a hydraulic powered steering gear capable of making a 35 degree turn angle.Main Drive shaft tested for vibration and deflection during its second da voyage at 104RPM normal operating condition.

    musta na?! Buti naman andyan ka pa sa Han-Jin. Narinig ko sa Papa ko na may project and CMA-CGM na gumawa ng mga bagong barko. Dati din nagtrabaho papa ko sa CMA-CGM company sa ilalim ng Career Shipping Mangement. Ok din yung sea trial niyo birthday ko :D hehehe
